The Ballet Society of Hanover eV
The competition is organized by the Ballet Society of Hanover e. V. Founded in 1985, the association aims to promote and further develop the art form of dance in Hanover.
At the heart of the association's work is Choreography – the International Choreography Competition. The Ballet Society of Hanover has been organizing this competition since 1986, and it has developed into a significant factor in the national and international dance scene during this time.
Regardless of competitions, the association offers its members exclusive opportunities to meet dance professionals, attend rehearsals together, and travel to ballets. Furthermore, the Ballet Society of Hanover, in cooperation with the arthouse cinema at Raschplatz, regularly presents current and renowned dance films.
